Third Convention Calls New Democratic Nominating Conference

Sled On the Servia From Liverpool Yesterday
The Cunard line steamer Servia sailed for Boston with members of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company on board. A Manchester deputation presented an address to Colonel Walker of the Boston company as about 1000 people cheered the departing Americans. Walker praised the warm welcome and spoke of mutual respect and peaceful dispute resolution between the two nations. The event followed a visit by the American group to London and was seen as strengthening Anglo American friendship.
