Death of J Cummings Civil Engineer From Chelsea Mass
From papers found on a man dead in a Bowery room it is believed the deceased is J Bowman Cummings a civil engineer from Chelsea Mass. He married Louise Weisse of Chelsea. In 1882 he was arrested in Cincinnati for abducting his sister in law Alice Weisse and served three years with a fine. He later drifted from engineering to pedler and owned real estate in Chelsea. An inquest will be held.
