Families on the top floor of 259 Bradway fled smoke but were unharmed. Huerta Family Leaves Mexico City for Vera Cruz

At 10 o'clock tonight the family of President Huerta and close friends departed Mexico City for Vera Cruz by a special train. The procession included three sleepers and a baggage car, with two military trains carrying 800 troops leading and a third train with 500 troops following. Two Dorchester Boys Drown In Nova Scotia Incident

The Associated Press reports Reginald Miner aged 20 and his 16 year old brother Claude of Dorchester Massachusetts drowned when their landing punt overturned in heavy seas near Barton Nova Scotia. Companion Kenneth Perry swam ashore but Reginald returned to aid Claude and both disappeared before help arrived. Their father is identified as Dr. Miner though no Dorchester doctor with those sons in Nova Scotia was found.

Cambridge Couple Wed Abruptly After Elopement

Miss Beck abandoned a music career and a signed contract to teach in an Alabama girls technical school to elope with Burford to Washington. Grand jury to indict Mrs Carman in Bailey murder case

Celia Coleman, a maid in the Carman home, told the Mineola grand jury she heard the shot from the kitchen and saw Mrs Carman rush in after the murder, challenging Carman’s alibi and supporting the prosecution’s theory that Mrs Florence Carman orchestrated the killing.
