Electric derailment injures three on Warren Brookfield line
Three passengers aboard a Warren Brookfield and Spencer streetcar were injured when a rail derailed near East Brookfield on July 14. Henry Hamburg 46 of North Brookfield fractured two ribs and suffered a scalp wound. Clara Nelson 16 of Brookfield bruised. Elsie Stratton 17 of East Brookfield slight shoulder injuries and torn dress. About 30 passengers were thrown from seats as the car plunged into a ditch at 75 degrees. Hamburg and Nelson were taken to the Crystal House for treatment. Stratton was treated at home.
