Washington July 12 Subscriptions to the new war loan will close Thursday at 8 pm with totals far exceeding estimates. Daily subscriptions reached about 21,000 for the day and overall aggregate nears 220,000, with $65,000,000 for $600 and under and $391,000,000 for larger sums. Banks and corporations face reduced shares as officials plan to return corporate subscriptions with accompanying checks.
