Five Hurt When Auto Crashes Near Newport Couple
Mr and Mrs Lawrence W Coudrey of Newport Rhode Island and chauffeur Jacob W Schaeffer were hurled from their car when it failed to control on Blue Hill Avenue near Talbot Avenue. The vehicle struck a lamp post ripping it out and telescoping the front. Coudrey sustained back and neck injuries. Mrs Coudrey suffered numerous bruises while the chauffeur landed in the Franklin Field grass. Other guests in the car escaped serious harm.

James F. Davlin, ex Alderman of Somerville, died at his home 15 Kingman Court Somerville after a lingering illness. Bangor Me July 11 The turbine steamer Camden of the Eastern Steamship Company carrying 500 passengers collided with the three masted schooner Annie P Chase after becoming unmanageable in a high wind while backing from Camden Harbor. The Camden pierced the jibboom of the Annie P Chase and caused damage to both vessels.
