Boston Disinherits Francis Morse in Princess Lorillard Will

New York July 7 Two wills disinherit Francis Morse of Boston known as the Princess Lorillard estate night. One will leaves Marie Louise and Caroline Frances Lorillard each 50000 cash with shares held in trust for the other, and revokes gifts to the Princess's third husband De Agreda. Morse is later named as indebted to the estate for 30000 and is cut off. Executors named include John McLean and the two daughters.

Major Whipple Commissioned for Philippine Service

Northampton July 7 President McKinley appointed Maj Whip le of the Second Regiment a captain to raise a company for service in the Philippines. Lieutenant Daniel Monahan, who distinguished at Santiago, named as his second in command. The place of second lieutenant offered to an officer with service in other Massachusetts regiments. Major aims to fill the company with veterans of the Second Regiment.
