Elixir of life debated by Dr Hammond interview

Ex Surgeon General William A. Hammond dismisses Dr Brown Sequard's elixir claim as fanciful. He argues life extension comes from hygienic care and preventing wear of organs, not gland suspensions or animal extracts. He outlines a lifestyle plan of measured work and nourishment to delay aging, noting practical limits and future possibilities.
