A Regina Saskatchewan tornado killed fifty initially and caused ten million dollars in damage. By 10 PM officials feared up to two hundred dead as business blocks and homes lay ruined. power and telegraph lines were down and reports were slow to arrive.
A storm hit Regina at 450 p m from the south destroying many frame structures. The government telephone building collapsed and relief crews search for the dead. The power plant is out and the city is dark tonight. Two fires started but firefighters control remains. All city vehicles are used as ambulances.

Salem police uncovered concealed liquor in a wholesale drug store raid. Electrically worked trap doors concealed the stash, which officers disclosed as part of the operation conducted on June 30.
Proprieties of eight drug stores were ordered to appear in court to answer illegal selling charges. Police report three trap devices found in one shop, and another battery powered trap behind a wall mirror in a second store. Over 600 gallons of spirituous liquor and malt flavor were seized.
Blood stained clothing found in the Blackstone river links the headless woman found near Dame's Grove last week to Mrs Angele Parmetier, 27, missing about five weeks. Henri Deslover, 27, of 129 Cumberland street, was arrested at 1:30 this afternoon and questioned by Chief Lowell J. Boston, who reports the man denies any connection.
