Wall Street Mixed as Venezuelan News Dampens Tone
Local market notes from Jan 29 show a still dull New York session with small gains and losses among active stocks. St. Paul faltered after a brief rise, Amalgamated copper strengthened in London while Utah rallied, and copper shares faced cautious trading amid talk of pools and consolidation. General Electric plans an automobile venture at Lynn works as copper markets hint at potential long-term gains.
