He lived in Charlestown and collapsed as colleagues spoke with him before ambulance arrival. Joseph Byrne aged 7 died early yesterday at his Hotel Adelphi home leaving a widow and three sons and a daughter. Byrne was a well known real estate man and longtime member of E and H Eldridge and Co.
