Moon Island visit by improved sewerage committee

Fire Sparks In City Hall Switch Board Incident
Chief Engineer Green's room reported a peculiar smell and smoke from the annunciators on the switch board. B F Underhill Jr found a red hot screw on circuit No 7, disconnection halted the arc, but an electric light flashed and set fire to the switch board before being extinguished. It is believed a crossed electric light wire overcharged the circuit.
