Engine Splits House in Drop in Pittsburg

Pittsburg Jan 21 Ten persons were injured, some seriously, when a Union railroad freight engine ran off the track and plunged through a concrete wall dropping about 20 feet, splitting a house. Four injured were children in the demolished home. others were railroad workers. Telegraph operator Joseph C. Barnhart, stationed in a tower at the wreck, jumped and was seriously hurt as the tower and building were wrecked.
