Bailey denounced manufacturers for employing Edward Loughran as a spy to crush labor organizing, urging firmer union unity. Other speakers included Samuel J Gompers Harry J Skeffington and Frank K Foster.
Mrs Rose North rup wife of a San Diego resident and her 7 year old daughter left home to visit friends. Fear of robbery on a train led her to abandon the journey and leave the train at an Iowa way station. Found by locals the child identified Nebraska relatives. The woman is described as a raving maniac.
James Boyle of Lowell aged 15 escaped the West Boro Reformatory and was recaptured at 3 57 this morning by Division officers. He will be returned to the institution after a month long vacation.
James Murphy, 30, arrested by Division 9 officers for larceny of a gentleman's night shirt, drawers, and two pairs of children's stockings valued at 2.55 dollars. He was locked up at 4 28 this morning.
