Progress Club Opens New Home on Warren Street
The Progress Club welcomed members to its new Warren street clubhouse for an informal inspection last evening ahead of the formal opening next Tuesday. Founded in 1888 as the citys second oldest Jewish club it remains active in Hebrew and national holiday observances with M Scheinfeldt as president and a building committee led by Scheinfeldt. A banquet dance and entertainment will accompany the opening event drawing a large gathering of prominent young business and professional men.
