Police Ball Sees 75 Officers Lead Parade in Boston

Thousands gathered in Mechanics Hall and side halls for the Boston Police Relief Association annual concert. Lieutenant Patrick King led 75 uniformed officers in a ceremonial drill to enthusiastic applause as crowds filled the main floor.

Grand March Led by Patrolman Hunt at City Event

About 75 couples formed the grand march led by Patrolman Michael F. Hunt and his wife, with District Attorney Pelletier and many city officials in attendance. The crowd enjoyed a lively program despite isolated ta booed turkey trots and crowded dance floors, as bunting and streamers honored Commissioner O'Meara and Superintendent Pierce.
