Wealthy Portland Man George Dyer Dies by Suicide

The body of 71 year old George E. Dyer a retired clothing dealer living in a Portland hotel was found hanging with towels tied to a steam pipe. A coroner ruled death by his own action. Dyer had retired over 30 years ago and made his home at the hotel.
