Self Confessed Murderer Edwin Snow Transferred to State Prison

Edwin Ray Snow, dressed in a suit and fedora, was moved from Barnstable County Jail to the State prison. He gave reporters a new confession, claimed the killing of James I Whittemore was impulsive, and said he would accept the full penalty of the law. Snow described the crime in detail, noted he did not intend to kill, and asked corrections to reports of a second shot. He was jailed under guard, given solitary time, and may work as a carpenter after 24 hours.
