James O Neill Leads Boston Run of The Three Musketeers

James O Neill supported by Maude Odell and a strong company opens a week at the Boston Theatre presenting Sydney Yrundy version of The Three Musketeers. It is the first Boston viewing of this dramatization, with a different scenic plan than Salvini or KE Hamilton adaptations. The prologue introduces Miladi the wife of Porthos, and the plot centers on her and D Artagnan. The musketeers unite with Artagnan and proceed through Paris outskirts, the lat ter and Miladi adventure, and the couple’s rooms.

Lilian Washburn's Indian Maidens company opens a week at the Palace Theatre featuring Pocahontas and Parisian Follies with Lillian Washburn and a cast of noted performers. Lawyer and Public Figure Halsey J. Boardman Dies at 41 Ferrin Street

Halsey J. Boardman, a Roxbury lawyer and longtime public servant, died after hemorrhages at his home. Born May 19 1834 in Norwich Vermont he rose to prominence as a trustee under Robert Breck Brigham and held roles in city government railroad circles and commercial ventures. Survived by his widow Georgia Hinman and two children Flora and William funeral set for Wednesday at 11 a.m.
