Building Trades Vote to Strike in Boston

Boston building trade employees will strike at 5 PM January 19 on all construction jobs managed by the Building Trades Employers' Association. The United Building Trades Council made the decision at a 386 Harrison Avenue meeting after the Employers' Association announced a 10 percent wage cut to take effect January 20, 1921.

Woman Dies After Prolonged Gas Poisoning Recovery

Mrs. Catherine Ganley aged 63 died at Lawrence General Hospital after being unconscious for more than sixty hours from gas poisoning. She had been found in a lodging house on Essex street last Tuesday and pronounced dead by police before revival by firemen and hospital admission.
