Tuckerman walked the bride down the aisle. A reception followed at the bride's mother's Chestnut Street home before the couple left for their wedding tour and will reside on Washington Square.
New York January 13 Judge Pratt of the Brooklyn Supreme Court denied ex Alderman Arthur J McQuade's motion for a stay of proceedings pending appeal on his bribery conviction The decision was sent to General Tracy and a messenger delivered a copy to District Attorney Martine Tomorrow McQuade will join Jaehne at Sing Sing prison for a seven year sentence
A 228000 cubic yards section of limestone and slate broke away from the Niagara River bank near Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side. The 60 foot wide by 100 plus foot long by 170 foot deep mass created a new perpendicular wall, blamed on heavy ice and three weeks of cold weather and low water.
Howard T. Blackstone, a former Canal National Bank clerk from Portland, Me, was arrested in Winnipeg on forgery charges.
