Smoke Talk for Horsemen Promises Free Tickets and Inspection

The Work Horse Parade Association to host the first smoke talk at Kingsley Hall near the State House at 8 p m on January 24. Tickets are free to horse enthusiasts via the association office at 15 Beacon Street. Smoking will be allowed and drivers urged to attend in work clothes. The association will inspect stables nationwide at no charge and report findings to stable proprietors.

Firemen of South St. Paul will soon be equipped with a large bobsled to carry hose ladder and firefighting equipment during winter. A specially designed sled is being built for this purpose.
