Ghastly Hungarian christening ends in deadly knife fight
In Scranton Pennsylvania on January 8, a Mayfield Hungarian christening erupted into a brutal knife fight after drink fueled the participants. Eight men were injured or killed, including Lucatz Krutchas who died, and Peter Gury, Wazyl Subal, John Turpakene, Paul Pawlak, John Nestor, Michael Oleaniz, and Andrew Tolop were left wounded. Eames and Giroux, milk contractors, owned the section most affected. several milk cans were destroyed and the roof interior sustained heavy damage. Loss estimated around 3000 dollars.
