Mrs Anna M Oddy aged 53 of 8 Cedar Street Roxbury was struck by a hose wagon from Engine 24 as it rushed to a blaze at 310 Warren Street. She sustained a bad left ankle fracture and was taken to City Hospital after treatment at George's Drug Store. Witnesses say the driver did all he could to avoid the accident.
