The will of William C. Higginson a Hillsboro N H merchant who died in 1910 was filed in Probate Court. It leaves all property to wife Dr Ella C Higginson and adds a codicil bequeathing the deceased body to her. Mrs Higginson formerly had offices at 121 Pleasant street Dorchester.
The Hillsboro dated will from 188? leaves all property to his wife Mrs Ella C Higginson. A later codicil from Boston in 1993 directs that his body be given to Dr Ella C Higginson and forbids interference from any relatives.
Victor M. Weil of Brookline, a noted promoter of questionable mining stocks, was arrested by federal authorities in a raid on his Winthrop Building stock brokerage offices. His books and staff were seized and he and the others were bound over to testify as witnesses for the prosecution in a mail fraud case.
After eight years of investigations by postal authorities, Isaac Weil known as the King of Boston's Wildcat Mining Men was arrested with bail set at 3000 dollars. U S agents including Hitchcock officials and Boston officers seized him at his office noon hour. Witnesses and associates faced bond. Weil denied charges and promised a statement.
