Market Review and Outlook for the New Year
The week closed with cautious trading as money markets faced year end dividend demands and high call money. Prices rallied from December lows on easier money, but a new bull move seems unlikely before tariff discussions and bear Febru ary. Foreseen monetary relief and a large foreign trade surplus in 1912 underpin a cautious, potentially rising stock backdrop.
