Final hearing on alleged City Hospital abuses ends in committee

The City Hospital inquiry concluded in City Hall with Alderman Jenks presiding. Trustees chief Bradlee described admission rules and said Michael Reardon did not apply through him. Dr Damon, Boston City Hospital admitting physician, testified Reardon did not seek admission and did not know him. The committee will consider the matter further after reviewing evidence.

Dedication of the Harvard School building at Inman and Broadway

The Harvard School dedicatory exercises were held yesterday afternoon with many attendees from Boston educational circles. The brick parallelogram structure measures 93 feet 6 inches by 92 feet, has three stories plus a basement, and will house nearly 800 pupils. Cost including land stood at $80,000. The program included scripture readings, prayers, a detailed cost statement, remarks by the mayor and others, a dedication ode by Miss Caroline F. Orne, and benediction.
