Republican leaders in the House plan a March 5 roundup of party members elected to the next Congress to discuss the speakership and organizational questions. The plan will go to the organization committee, invitations would be issued to 70 current House members and 4 incoming members if approved. Mann is expected to be nominated for speaker with Lenroot of Wisconsin as floor leader if Mann is elected.

The Gould family learned of Edwin Gould Sr. this morning after David H. Taylor, legal representative, received details by phone from Jekyl Island Club members. The 24-year-old, who had left Jekyl Island with a companion yesterday afternoon, was on a canoe trip at Latham Hammock when the incident occurred. The body, embalmed in Brunswick, Ga., will arrive tomorrow afternoon in care of the father.
