Seven men charged in larceny from Chief Tyree at Hingham Naval station

Seven men including Joseph Gibbs and Martin Spydhola were held for the grand jury on larceny charges after Chief Boatswain's Mate Frank Tyree was robbed of $90, a $50 gold watch, a gold chain, and a diamond ring after being intoxicated at 62 Chandler street and the Hotel Echo. Gibbs was also held on an impersonating a police officer charge as the group allegedly divided the loot.
