Democratic Committee Chooses St Louis For 1888 Convention

The Democratic National Committee met in Washington and after lengthy balloting settled on holding the 1888 convention in St Louis. They set June 5 as the date, with a committee to arrange canvass and logistics. Edmund Wilson and Hubert O. Thompson were noted as deceased members.
