Rain and Main Flood Melrose and Wakefield

Torrential rain last night flooded countless cellars in Melrose and Wakefield. A five foot boulder slid from a hillside at Taylor street at 10 30 pm and struck a fire hydrant causing a five inch water jet. Water poured from broken pipes, flooding cellars one and a half to three feet deep.
