Thomas I Harvey, missing since a Monday night blaze at Elite Engraving Co 130 132 Lincoln St, was found dead among rubble by a worker clearing debris. Firemen including Chief Mullen believed he had escaped, but Harvey died protecting his employers. He lived 42, at 5 Pleasant Court Charlestown. The body was taken to City Hospital morgue.

Cats and Dog Rescued Fire at Dorchester Avenue
Two Angora cats and a Scotch collie dog helped raise the alarm and save a house at 539 Dorchester Avenue from major damage.
