Mackay and his wife were granted a mutual divorce in a Paris court on February 11, with desertion cited as the grounds. The proceedings issue a final settlement and release of all ancillary claims between the parties.
Oklahoma City February 18 United States Senator Thomas Pryor Gore was exonerated in a $50 000 damages suit filed by Mrs Minnie Bond. The verdict favored Gore after a brief jury deliberation. Bond’s party planned an appeal alleging courtroom influence by applause during the trial.
Clarence H. Mackay and Katherine A. Duer were granted a mutual divorce in Paris on February 11. Custody of the couple’s two children goes to Mackay, with visitation allowed for Mrs. Mackay. No financial settlement noted. prior arrangements reportedly ceded Roslyn estate to Mrs. Mackay.

The estranged couple had lived apart over two years as the separation suit of Mrs Joseph A Blake against the famed surgeon ended in the wife’s favor for alienation of affections, prompting a confidential settlement of $1,000,000.
Mayor Curley contemplates selling municipal greenhouses along Massachusetts Avenue near Columbia Road after removing the Public Garden beds from the market. He proposes using outer city land for hot houses and storage, estimating the 300 by 500 foot parcel could fetch about 75 000 dollars, with the city reaping value from undeveloped land while avoiding new ground costs.
Adrian Iselin, 67, banker and yachtsman, escorted Mrs. Frederick Bronson, 63, widow, to City Hall in New York today where a marriage license was issued. The couple left quickly after stating their wedding would occur today but would not disclose the time or place.

Boston fashion watchers report a new craze where wigs are dyed to match the color of gowns for social events. Hairdressers Rudolph Merten and John Médina say they can supply wigs to coordinate with any fabric color and expect widespread adoption in Boston soon.
Governor Walsh ends a two day talk seeking terms to split the Boston and Maine from the New Haven. The New Haven side resists and may seek a case in federal court. Negotiations resume in Boston next week with Walsh, Elliott, and Justice Department Special Agent Gregory involved.

Marco Caldarella 4% living at Hanover Street allegedly stabbed his wife Francesco Caldarella during an argument at North Square. Patrolman Battls chased Caldarella after a scream. The woman suffered a slight cut to the left breast and was treated by Dr Beront.
After a bitter battle touching race religion and politics Moorfield Storey of the Massachusetts Bar Association was attacked as admirers of General Benjamin F Butler won favorable action. The bill for a Butler statue passed 117 to 104 overturning a committee report with party lines blurred as Republicans from Lowell and many Essex county Republicans and Progressives sided with the bill.
The bill failed in the Senate and is sent to the House committee on ways and means. A second clash is anticipated. Representative Martin M. Lomasney backed the supporters of the statue while Representative Washburn of Worcester led the opposition in yesterday's scrimmage.
At a long hearing before the legislative committee on metropolitan affairs three routes for the Dorchester tunnel were debated. Plan 1 extends the Andrew Square subway along Dorchester Avenue, Plan 2 runs from Andrew Square to Upham's Corner via Meeting House Hill to Codman Square, and Plan 3 proposes elevating from Dudley Street to Grove Hall. Each plan drew supporters.
