George F. Gilmore known as Jocko Gilmore arraigned in Somerville Police Court charged with murdering Druggist Charles E. Bushee who died Feb 6 from injuries from Jan 12. He pleaded not guilty and was held for the grand jury without bail. Brearton of 18 Savin Hill avenue Dorchester Patrolman Quirk who has been working on the case for some time arrested the woman after a chase through several towns and cities and believes that it will clear up the many clothes line thefts in the district.

Receiver Sought for Missing Woman Carrie Whiting Estate
Probate Court at East Cambridge heard a petition by Herbert Willey of Wakefield for appointment of a receiver for the estate of Carrie G. Whiting. The missing 60 year old widow left Wakefield for a winter stay in California. A December letter from Los Angeles confirmed, under her will, her stepdaughter Mrs Herbert Willey is heir.
