Boston book-keepers form branch of federation

A Boston meeting of book-keepers and office clerks at Quincy House organized a local branch of the National Federation of Book-keepers. John F. Dowd was named chairman with A S Hamilton as corresponding and financial secretary L D Drury as recording secretary and Frederick Doble as treasurer. A three member committee was appointed to secure a hall for the next meeting and notify members via the press. The session adjourned subject to the chairman's call.

Weldon alias Weldon faces trial for poisoning relatives

Jane Weldon, alias Josephine Weldon, alias Josephine Raymond, held in South Boston for thefts, was brought to Cambridge yesterday for trial on six counts charging her with poisoning her nephew Herbert B. Chaplin and niece Eva F. Chaplin at Everett on January 4 and other times with arsenic sugar of lead and rough on rats. She pleaded not guilty and was remanded to await court order.
