The Yale Alumni Association of New York met at Delmonico's and elected Chauncey M. Depew president. New officers include Treasurer William A. Kopp, vice-presidents Brayton Ives and D. H. Chamberlain, Secretary Magrane Coxe, and an executive committee with John P. Clarke A Stokes Clarence S. Beebe Albert S. McGregor and R. A. Bigelow. Short addresses followed and about fifty members attended the collation.
The funeral for D. R. Locke was held at his home in ToLepo Ohio. Rev. Robert McCune officiated with ex Governor James M. Ashley delivering the address. The Masonic order presided over the rites and a large crowd, including ex President Hayes, attended.
