Thieves Surprise Brookline Home Break-In Attempt
Two men tried to break into Mrs. Paul Turner at 1471 Beacon Street Brookline. they jammed the front door but fled after a chain inside kept them out. Earlier they failed to enter Mrs Blevins on the second floor. Misses Minerva and Mabel Turner alerted by noise, saw two men flee toward Brandon Hall. Brookline police investigated and searched the area.
