Michigan liner arrives with 1900 tons cargo and stowaway found
The Warren line steamer Michigan reached Pier 4 at 1 PM from Liverpool with 1900 tons of cargo and 2% cattlemen aboard, plus a stowaway, John Mundoff of Buffalo. He was discovered nine days after departure and allowed to land. Other ships delayed by winter seas, and a flotilla of fish boats and tugs faced a northeast gale.
