Washington February 11 Commander Robert E Peary discoverer of the North Pole will not be made rear admiral in the navy as proposed Congress may approve the action of a House naval affairs sub committee which voted today to report adversely the measures offered by Senator Hale and Representative Allen. The six member committee voted unanimously against the honor for Peary.
A Cambridge probate court hearing features Norman Glover recounting threats by his wife and the brothers’ testimonies about Clarence fearing his wife. Arthur and Norman describe similar threats as they testify amid earlier allegations of financial irregularities and criminal records involving the Glover siblings.
