Ford workers alternate shifts to allow part time work
Detroit Feb 10 Ford Motor Company announces a plan to alternate shifts so nearly all married employees can work part time until normal operation resumes. The current shift of about 10,000 men will be followed next week by a second shift of equal size, then alternated every two weeks. Those off duty this week will have worked since the plant partially reopened on Jan 31.
