Tragedy at Cambridge School Ends in Mother's Knife Attack

In Cambridge a mother, Inez King, slashed her son Robert King and then cut her own throat in the Russell School basement. Teachers heard the child cry and a later thud. Police and doctors rushed both victims to Cambridge Hospital where surgeons treated extensive neck wounds. Sergeant Leahy collapsed at the hospital and was revived.
