McKay Relief Bill Moves in House Over Delays

The McKay relief bill for Nathaniel and executors of Donald McKay passed the House but faced a delay as Mr. Springer of Illinois opposed final passage. The case centers on contract changes during wartime that allegedly cost the McKays losses after building ironclads and a steamer for the Navy.
