Hugin Arrives in Boston With Sugar Cargo During Harsh Voyage
Captain Andersen and crew of the Norwegian steamer Hugin arrived in South Boston with 14 225 bags of sugar for the American Sugar Refining Co. from Guantanamo Cuba. A northwest gale and ice slowed the voyage from the Breakwater to the harbor, and Pilot Sidney Treat guided the ship in after she took on sixty tons of coal.
