Funeral of Bishop O'Hara in Scranton Cathedral

The funeral of Bishop O'Hara was held today with elaborate ceremonies at the cathedral in Scranton Penn. About three hundred priests and an equal number of ministers attended. Bishop Hoban celebrated the mass of requiem while Bishop Hotsman of Cleveland preached the sermon. Archbishops Ryan and Witemaurice and Bishops Hoban performed the absolutions with Bishops Prendergast and McQuaid present. Interment followed in the crypt beneath the sanctuary.
