Weathered docks bring ships and delays at port
Thick rain kept workers indoors as a fleet of over twenty five coal laden schooners and towboats arrived. Captain Rube Stubbs towed four large vessels to their docks while the Moravia passed the harbor bound for Hamburg. Great Admiral from the Baker & Weld fleet was docked at Lewis wharf taking stores for a Melbourne voyage after repairs. Seventy five fishing vessels left for grounds at T wharf leaving a few still at the dock.
