Thieves Chase Through Dorchester Streets

Two men fled pursued by two others including a policeman after a fusillade near Bicknell street in Dorchester. James Murphy, a coachman, shot seven times and captured a coat as one suspect slipped away. Patrolman Fenderson fired twice. The pursuit extended toward Washington street with all nearby stations alerted.

Miller In Cell Franklin Syndicate Head Arrested in New York

William F. Miller head of the Franklin Syndicate in Brooklyn, who fled after indictment for grand larceny and conspiracy, was arrested in Canada and brought to New York. He was photographed and arraigned with bail set at 12 500, facing three indictments. Captain Reynolds led the capture and delivery to Kings County DA.
