Weavers Battle Union and Non-Union Strife in New Bedford
Reports from New Bedford on the strike show growing discontent among non-union weavers as aid is distributed by the union to the needy. Union leaders deny any plan to remove Secretary Hart and say non-union carders praise the relief efforts.

He noted about 700 received from outside for 10 000 strikers, averaging at most seven cents per head. Benefits are planned at Tremont and Col umes Boston on Sunday evening.
