The s4 class at English Galgh School met at Young's Hotel last evening for a banquet after a business meeting. Elected for the coming year were President D. M. Blair, Vice-President C. T. Beverly miller Aaron Dodge dies at 73 in his home
Aaron Dodge, a veteran miller from Hivex county, died at his Beverly residence on Wednesday night at age 73. For four decades he ran the old grist mill on Elliott street and served on the board of selectmen and the board of overseers. He was a member of Livery Lodge of Maroons.

Lawrence man convicted in Salem assault case
In the Superior Criminal Court at Salem yesterday James Roberts of Lawrence was convicted of an assault on Albert Merrill reporter for the Lawrence Eagle. A district officer trying to arrest Roberts, Merrill assisting, was bitten on the arm. The judge sentenced Roberts to one year in Concord reformatory.
