Nantasket Hotel Burns Fire Destroys Rockland House

A fire at 1 30 am consumed the Rockland House hotel on Rockland Hill Nantasket destroying the four story structure with about 300 rooms. The watchman barely escaped as flames raced through the building aided by a high wind and frozen temperatures hampering Hull fire units. The unoccupied hotel stood near several cottages and the blaze drew crews from across the area.
