Assault with a revolver in Hanover Avenue quarrel

At 2 o’clock this morning Paul Schulz 21 was arrested by Division 1 officers for assault with a loaded revolver on Giuseppe Di Vincenzo after a dispute over a woman at 15 Hanover Avenue. Di Vincenzo was shot in the right thigh and taken to Massachusetts General Hospital. The wound is not expected to be serious unless blood poisoning develops. Schulz resides in the building where the shooting occurred.

Guilty but at Liberty in Dolan Death Case

In Worcester Superior Criminal Court Cornelius O Sullivan was arraigned for manslaughter in the death of Harry Dolan. He pleaded guilty and the district attorney said no sentence would be asked given the circumstances. O Sullivan was allowed to depart on furnishing bonds. Dolan died from a blow received in a November dance altercation with O Sullivan.
